Eastbrook sweeps the Awards of Excellence & People's Choice winners during 2012 Fall Parade of Homes
It's not easy to win all four Awards of Excellence within a particular home price range category, but that's exactly what Eastbrook Homes did in this year's Fall Parade or Homes coordinated by the Home Builders Association of Greater Grand Rapids. The awards, sponsored by Cosmopolitan Home Magazine, offered each home in the Parade the opportunity to win awards by competing against other homes in its price range. Within the $150,000 - $200,000 category, Eastbrook ran the table, winning every available award.

August 2nd, 2012
GRAND RAPIDS—Eastbrook Homes, an established homebuilder and developer, announces West Hamptons, in Forest Hills Northern schools, is now sold out. "We never doubted the success of West Hamptons. New Homes with Style and Character
Eastbrook Homes, an established West Michigan homebuilder, knows the signs are favorable for a significant rebound in the housing market for 2012. The company's vice president of marketing, Bob Sorensen, also knows first-time buyers want more style and features in their homes than ever before. "Younger homebuyers aren't satisfied with four walls and a garage," he says. "They want their home to have the architectural flair and unique touches that express their personal taste and active lifestyle."
While Eastbrook designs and builds homes in price ranges from $140,000 to $750,000, it makes a priority of adding as much "style" to its entry-level homes as it does to its higher end offerings. "We put a lot more thought into home design than other companies because we don't believe in cheap, little cracker boxes. Throughout the industry, we're known for a rich variety of architectural style and individual nuance in each home," Sorensen adds.
Eastbrook's design efforts for homes up to $150,000 have been noticed and rewarded by the Grand Rapids Homebuilders Association. In its recent 2012 Spring Parade of Homes, Eastbrook received an Award of Excellence for Best Affordable Home (the Alcott), the model for which is located at Cook's Crossing in Byron Center. The company also received an Award of Excellence for Best Curb Appeal for a home (the Mayfair), located at Carlisle Crossings in Byron Center. The awards are judged by a panel of industry experts and sponsored by Cosmopolitan Home Magazine.
