Plainfield Township discusses Eastbrook Homes rezoning request
It's been more than three years since development firm Eastbrook Homes first requested 88 acres of land west of the Rockford City limits on the south side of 10 Mile Road be rezoned to accommodate a housing development.
Fairmount Square project brings suburban developer into the city
Eastbrook Homes has broken ground on the company's first urban development, 35 townhomes slated for Fairmount Square. The townhomes, all duplexes and triplexes, are situated adjacent to the newly renovated D.A. Blodgett Home for Children, now the home of the Inner City Christian Federation (ICCF).
